Team Moonlite Charters has been together for the past 4 years. The team is made up of 3 anglers, Capt. Brad Brown, Capt. Derek Carlson and Jason Dudley. They have over 50 years of combined experience on the waters of Florida.  Each angler has a different perspective on fishing, by putting their minds together it has allowed them to be much more successful and learn from each other in the process.  In the past 3 years since they have formed they have won numerous tournaments, including one of the largest tournaments in Florida and have had numerous top 10 finishes as well.

Capt Brad Brown has been fishing the waters of Florida for over 20 years.  He calls the waters of Estero Bay and Pine Island Sound his backyard.  Estero Bay is a great fishery known for putting up some big fish and Brad knows how to catch them.  He also likes to go up into Pine Island Sound and sight fish on the expansive grass flats.  Brad became a full time guide and professional tournament angler to pursue his dream.  You can book a charter with Capt. Capt. Derek Carlson was born and raised in Southwest Florida.  His home waters are also in Estero Bay.  Derek recently became a licensed captain as well and will begin guiding soon.   He teaches a fishing course at a local school and always has a full class.  Derek's speciality is snook and dock fishing.  There are not many people who can pull those fish from under the docks like Capt. Derek, I personally have seen him dive underneath boats to free his line from the skeg so he could continue the fight.  Now if that is not hardcore!  

Jason Dudley grew up fishing the rivers of Alaska.  He was catching salmon as soon as he was old enough to walk.  He has been coming down to southwest Florida since the 1980's and had been calling Florida home for over 10 years.   Jason's speciality is dead sticking baits for big redfish.  He enjoys fishing with artificials as well but loves to chase the big bruisers with a big piece of bait.  Jason & Brad entered the tournament scene together in 2003 and took 1st and 2nd in the Pilot Snook Slam.
